Spurtle/Porridge Stirer in Beech wood

£19.99

As summer fades into autumn our thoughts turn toward porridge for breakfast and there's no better way to cook porridge than with a spurtle.

This hand-turned spurtle in beech wood with contrasting light and dark grain. Turned from one piece of locally sourced beech.

The spurtle is a wooden kitchen tool of Scottish origin used for stirring primarily porridge but can be used for anything hot. The tapering shape means the porridge can be stirred without lumps forming.

This spurtle is approximately 28cm long and 3cm wide at its widest point. It features a leather hanging strap. Finished in cold-pressed linseed oil and beeswax.

Price includes post and packaging.
